Our purpose is to be close and to help preserve what is important to people, such as the protection of their personal data and their privacy, which have always been our commitments. When you use, directly or indirectly, our products, we take the necessary care to ensure the confidentiality, protection, and appropriate use of your personal data.

Now, to give you a better understanding of our responsibilities with your personal data, we present this Privacy Notice and Terms of Use.

VSOFT, as a national and international security reference in the niche of identifying people and certifying processes, is committed to being transparent with you, protecting the data we process, adopting the best security practices to guarantee the integrity and confidentiality of the data collected and using protection mechanisms against misuse, unauthorized access attempts, fraud, damage, sabotage and theft.

We will explain, as best we can, the aspects that are important to you in relation to the use of Certfy Digital Identity Platform. What is the Certfy Digital Identity Platform?

A Certfy Digital Identity Platform, developed by Vsoft, is a software that ensures that only you can use your personal data to carry out this or future transactions. To this end, some basic registration information, as well as some of your biometric characteristics - facial, digital, palm, iris, signature, among others - are collected with your prior consent and, after that, this information is stored in our database.

When you carry out a transaction with one of our customers who use the Certfy Digital Identity Platform, we will return with an answer regarding your identity; when appropriate, we will demonstrate whether the data collected at the time of the transaction actually corresponds to those previously registered in our database. This confirmation will protect your identity as well as prevent others from misusing your data.

It is important to make you aware that Certfy Digital Identity Platform It is an automated system and, therefore, will not consider your color, ethnicity, sexual choice, religious, political, social orientation, or any value judgment to embarrass you in any way. The system is based on comparing your registration information, including the Templates biometrics extracted from the photo of your biometric characteristics, with the information collected during the transaction with one of our clients, thus validating your identity.

The comparison, performed using biometric recognition, is carried out using an automated system that extracts the template biometric of the chosen biometric characteristic and searches for the corresponding images and personal data.

Collection and processing of personal data

The first step when accessing the Certfy Digital Identity Platform will be to make this document available so that you can read it calmly. Due to the importance we attach to this moment, we seek your full understanding of all the provisions made here, so that you feel safe and informed about all aspects of the treatment of your data.

For this reason, only after consenting to the terms set out here (art. 7, I and art. 11, I of Law No. 13,709/01), will we proceed with the collection of your registration data and your photo (s), as follows: the personal data you entered for registration will be forwarded to our platform and we will ask you to take photos of your determined biometric characteristics (photo of your face/fingerprints/subscription/among others using the camera of your own cell phone or electronic device by which is carrying out the transaction). It is important that you adjust your biometric characteristics according to the orientation that will appear on the screen of your device.

For your safety and to make us even more certain that no one tried to misuse your data, other than your photo (s) and registration data entered in Certfy Digital Identity Platform, when you take the photo from your own electronic device, we may collect and store some additional data, such as: date and time that you took the photo to effectively register with Certfy Digital Identity Platform, your IP address, geographical location (if you allow it to be enabled), operating system of the device used, browser and its respective versions, screen resolution, model and number of the device, as well as the ID code (IMEI) of the mobile device (cell phone or smartphone) through which you took your photo.

A Certfy Digital Identity Platform you may also collect and store data from cookies, which are small files that may or may not be added to your device and that allow you to store and recognize more browsing data.

It is important to note that the data collected here may be justified by legal bases other than consent, mentioned above, such as the hypotheses of art. 7, II, V and X, as well as art. 11, II, a and g, of Law No. 13,709/01 (LGPD). Even in these cases, you, the owner, have a series of rights, which will be set out in this document, as well as in art. 18 of the LGPD.

Data usage

It is important that you know that although the Certfy Digital Identity Platform Compare the photo you took at the time of the transaction with the existing database, none of this data is sent to companies other than the one with which you are transacting. To make this possible, we inform you that our database is fed when you use the services of one of our clients, so that when using them you may have provided your data to Certfy Digital Identity Platform prior to the transaction you are making in that opportunity, for example.

In this way, once entered in the database of Certfy Digital Identity Platform, your photos - and the respective extracted biometric template - and information will have the purpose of (i) allowing companies that use the system to consult the percentage of convergence of the information submitted by you for the purpose of preventing fraud and false identity crimes, analyzing inconsistencies; (ii) developing, maintaining and improving the features and functionalities of Certfy Digital Identity Platform; (iii) allow performance analysis, audience measurement, verification of their browsing habits; (iv) detection of the way in which they arrived at Certfy Digital Identity Platform; (iv) evaluation of statistics related to the number of accesses and use of Certfy Digital Identity Platform; (v) possibility of analyses related to information security, as well as its improvement and development; (vi) improvement of your experience using the Certfy Digital Identity Platform, and (vii) compliance with a legal or judicial order, when appropriate.

Data storage

The data collected is stored for a specific period and location, depending on its nature:

As for registration data, as well as the captured photo (s) - and their receivers Templates biometric -, these will be stored only as long as they are useful for their intended purpose or until you request their elimination, through a specific channel (privacidade@vsoft.com.br); the storage is done on a contracted cloud server, offered by Microsoft Azure, located in the United States, observing the best levels of security and protection.

Os cookie data, if they exist, they are stored for the period specified in the Cookies Policy, on a cloud server offered by Google Analytics, thus observing the best levels of security and protection.

Data sharing with third parties

VSOFT may share your personal data with Regulatory Bodies, Supervisory Bodies, other authorities and official bodies or auditing firms, for the purpose of complying with current legislation or meeting legal demands.

When we share data with third parties, only the data necessary to carry out the activities and in accordance with safeguards and good practices, in compliance with all national and international legislation, if applicable, is shared.

How do Vsoft employees treat the personal data collected?

Always valuing the security of your personal data, VSOFT, developer and responsible for Certfy Digital Identity Platform, constantly empowers all its employees, and also restricts the use of this data only to employees essential to the resolution of demand, controlling access and use (login and password).

In addition, the browsing data of a site user is used by artificial intelligence algorithms, regardless of the individualization of the users. In this way, VSOFT employees and collaborators do not have access to browsing data or carry out any analysis on that data.

Information security

All information collected is stored and treated within an environment with maximum security. The entire environment is encrypted, password-protected and accessed only by designated collaborators (identified by login and password).

Any of the databases mentioned above is accessed using passwords and with people responsible for each of the information storage and processing platforms.

Rights of the owner

The user has the right to access, confirm, correct, update, delete and transfer the personal information held by the Platform, in accordance with Law No. 12,965/2014 (Civil Framework of the Internet), as well as with Law 13,709/2018 (General Data Protection Law), by contacting this company through the e-mail privacidade@vsoft.com.br.

Responsibilities of the owner

In order for us to treat your data in the best and most secure manner, we inform you that it is your responsibility to observe and comply with all specifications, instructions, standards and technical requirements that Certfy Digital Identity Platform ask you to register your data and take your photo.

In addition, we have that our entire operation is based on your personal data, which are very personal. Therefore, you are responsible for the veracity of the data provided and you acknowledge that their inconsistency may entail the compensation of any and all damages, direct or indirect (including those resulting from the violation of any rights of other persons, of third parties, including secrecy and personality rights), caused to Certfy Digital Identity Platform, to any other person, or even to any third party, including because of non-compliance with the provisions of this document.

In addition, we inform you, for your knowledge, that the Certfy Digital Identity Platform is delivered in the current form of development and which, since it is an electronic system, is subject to Bugs specific or inconsistencies, which will be promptly resolved. This Privacy Notice is governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. All controversies in this document will be resolved by the João Pessoa District forum, State of Paraíba, Brazil, to the exclusion of any other, however privileged it may be or may be.
